Which is odd, because I'd envisage a jog that holds the two webs in pos while the ram slams them together forcing the hardened centre splines to swage into the softer web material. Getting my SFC crank halves spot-on isn't easy (bot as 360 deg and 270 deg) because there are no splines. Red has made a huge jig to hold them close to perfectly positioned for pressing together.

I have a son who jogs.
He even cycles.
He has a Ducati 748. 2 out of 3 sons have Ducati 748s. The 3rd one has a VW Golf.
