And if neither of the above very kind offers work for you, you can get them from your local small aircraft supplier by quoting reference AN900-24  :D.

Size info
Original rings: 38.2mm ID x 43.7mm OD x 2.0mm (Source: RGS parts book)
AN900-24: 38.1mm x 44.4mm x 3.4mm

Good hint!
Just checked on EBay ?18.60 each plus ?18.80 Postage!
Think I'll keep re-using mine.

Have been using Honda cb750 gaskets for years, reasonably cheap here in OZ. Generally buy them in bulk as often swap between standard exhaust and 3into1.

I dunno, you boys ...  :D.

Read the message again: "get them from your local small aircraft supplier".  You don't have to buy everything from ebay, you know ...  :-*

99p ea. New reference MS35769-39, btw.

Good one, Tom.  Have done the same myself on occasion*.  Uncrushed, the Honda ones are thicker than the Laverda originals, 4mm rather than 2.  But I never noticed any ill effects.  I guess you not, either?

For anyone who needs to know, the Honda part number for the 750s is 18291-MM5-860.  The size is 37.4 x 44.8 x 4.1 (vs. Laverda's 38.2 x 43.7 x 2).

* Time to 'fess up. I owned an Africa Twin for a short while.  Great heavy ungainly lump, it was ..  :D.  Wasn't bad as a sports bike, mind ...

I've found that to be true of all gaskets.
I sincerely hope not! Otherwise we would be going around in circles forever at the power station tightening flanges.

The thinner the gasket the less 'creep' you get with heat cycles.

The reason that exhaust gaskets have to be re-tightened is that when you start the engine the pipe and flange heat up and expand quicker than the studs. So the soft gasket is compressed more each heat cycle.
Effectively the tension on the studs is being reduced each cycle.

Equilibrium and a 'permanent' seal is achieved when the gasket is much thinner and the studs have the correct tension to overcome expansion and contraction.

I've had these made in the Uk for a while now - material is often used for car exhaust manifold/cylinder head sealing - Selling @ ?1.60p each or 6 for ?10 inc Uk postage. see my "description" below:- - Regards - Phil

"NOW A STEEL/FIBRE/STEEL LAMINATE - WILL TAKE UP TO 650?c - REDUCES POSSIBILITY OF EXHAUST FLANGE
NUTS WORKING LOOSE AS THEY COMPRESSES LESS  THAN THE CU ONES AND END UP ABOUT THE SAME THICKNESS"
