Got. La Cala de Mijas. Today it is the Costa del Lluvia.Looking for property…?
Are you running it on coal?
Well said Jo,
Saw this today, interesting from where I stand, probably get roasted for being too political....
Maybe the west is finally waking up though![]()
I think you are deceiving yourself Lothar and Mr Putin is an essential partner of yours. My car is runing on Solar Power - most of the time at least, as I only charge it if I have sufficient solar power or go to the local "Aldi" Store, which has huge number of solar pannels on their roof top. during bad weather situations or if to many people charge, the power is from water power or windpower that is offered in their charging stations (well - I know that you can not separate it where the power locally comes from, but at least that is what they pay for and the money spent on that power is used to build new regenerative sources for power...)
I paid a total of roughly 60€ external energy cost for roughly 5.000km of driving so far due to the free charging at Aldi and at home (on sunny days only).
My house though is running on gas, which I will change to what we call an air-source heat pump (basically a fridge that produces heat instead of cooling by taking the energy out of the environment and put it into the heating water), which then gets supplied by the solar pannels and at night from the battery in my basement.
