You need to put gloves on before going for a pee.You have to be very careful with burnt out electronics on older vehicles, I can't remember the name of the acid residue formed but it can enter unnoticed through your skin and eat into the bone with amputation being the only option.
Nah, CK - as someone's avatar says on here, 'most of that will polish out'!Just as well you pulled the crank out, the bearing looks fucked.
Not sure but what is sure is that the connection behind the seat pad between the generator and the reg is suspect and needs replacing on all ZanesLithium battery?
That is also true of rubber brake hoses , very serious. You have to be very careful with burnt out electronics on older vehicles, I can't remember the name of the acid residue formed but it can enter unnoticed through your skin and eat into the bone with amputation being the only option.

Nasty on flesh but bone, well the calcium in bone, neutralises it. It absolutely sucks up all available calcium in tissue and blood and the biggest problem is hypocalcaemia. Treatment is with calcium dressings/gel to the burn site and calcium infusion to correct the balance in the blood.Pretty sure it's call hydrofluoric acid, nasty stuff
You might remember the geo in Mossie Park? that dived into his pool after a spill. Didn't work, it absorbs immediately through skin.Nasty on flesh but bone, well the calcium in bone, neutralises it.
