Headlamp brackets

Thanks, the 140 mm bit was what I was after.

140mm steel tube + 1 alloy spacer + 1 rubber ring.

Aren't we talking about an SF2, Paul???? I mentioned that the brackets might be shorter on an SF2 than an SF1 and I think it's pretty clear that they are! I have never seen an SF2 that didn't have these stepped Ceriani clamps fitted and I've never seen an SF1 with a stepped top clamp. Even the 35mm SF2 disc models had that stepped top clamp.

All the poster wants to do is sort the length of the brackets for his SF1. Hopefully we'll help him get there!

All done Quentin and I mentioned that I had 2 forks measured, the bracket is 140mm whatever the top clamp. Therefore 140mm SF1, 2 and 3.

That would seem to confirm my 'theory' ...

I`ll make them extra long, get them re-chromed and cut them to the required length when I re-assemble the forks to the frame.... and then fill the gaps with rubber rings and alloy spacers, what could possibly go wrong! 8)
