I scored a really cool Laverda jacket

It quite often seems to be the case that you find a decent piece of kit ........ It wears out , and then you find out it has been discontinued , and you end up buying something else which is nowhere near as good ........ Maybe I could have made the Aqua Guard last a bit longer , but it was a 365 day a year work rest and play jacket , and as such was starting to get a bit tired .......

I have three jackets now ......... One is an Vietnamese Italian Alpinestars leather item which is nice , but weighs a bloody ton ...... so much so that it wears me out just putting the thing on , and the extra weight probably knocks about 10 mph off the bike`s top speed .

The second is an old Pakistani Italian Alpinestars textile , which is nice and comfy but now leaks like a sieve .........

..... which has now been replaced by number three , a Pakistani Belgian Richa textile , which is warm and waterproof ........

........ ( although I`ll still be keeping the PakiStar , because despite it`s porous nature , I still kind of like it .....) ..............

My old Stag jacket fitted like a glove, loved it.

I woke up in hospital and it was folded up on a chair beside me. Had a Dr come and visit me, he grabbed the jacket to sit down and I almost died….. it’d been cut in half to get it off me while I was ‘sleeping’ in the ambulance 😢😢 There was a few seconds of silence in the place as I cried out: Noooooo
