Also took my XT500 across Europe to Greece in the early 80s. Avon still did a 21" speedmaster front then, road tyres really suited the XT. LEA 322V I'd love to find that bike. 70,000 miles with no major issues but ate chains and sprockets and frequent repacking of the rear cush drives with bits of inner tube.
