Laverda 100 Sport Parts

Gert

Thanks so I don't need the tool boxes and its the battery free model so the cylinder tool box is correct.

I assume the headlight is a standard ring rather than the peaked rim?

Thanks to all your links I have now sourced the rear light. :D

Struggling to find this kickstart ring and some brake and clutch levers the plastic on mind is crumbling.

Regards

Mark

Mark,

from quite a few years ago, one of the members from the USA suggested using a plastic compound that is used in the USA for tool handles.
You dip the levers in and gradually build the depth of coating up by repeated dips.
Works a treat and looks very authentic.
Can't find details as I threw the can away, but worth searching for. 1 can did  4 levers with heaps left over.  One of the US chaps may have an idea.

Our experience is that many reproduction parts for the littl uns look the same, but are NOT identical to the original.  However when there is nothing else on offer, I suggest taking the repro part and modifying to suit as required.  A new coat of paint, chrome or zinc plating does wonders.
If you speak Italian and can get to Italy (tho I'd suggest waiting a while unless you are a gambler), then the job of getting parts is much easier.

The late Cor Dees supplied us with many repro parts such as header pipes, silencers, rear lights, footrest and foot control rubbers plus second hand toolboxes etc. This was some 8 years ago and Cor said many parts were very difficult to get then, as they were being produced in small batches.

Good luck

Hi Mark,
sorry for my late reply. Brake and clutch levers are nearly impossible to find - all broken. I'll have a look for part 206 in the 100 sport parts manual (Boccola per Leva) and the pin that goes in the kickstarter (I should have some stainless replica pins).
Ciao, Gert

Hi all have been looking for a lusso sport etc for 20 years .and one finally came up.so rare here it's a59 model apparently came from a collection inPalma Italy. Engine and frame no 583606. Also have a sf 750 for the last 20 years. The lusso is complete, has stuck exhaust valve and no oil when I picked it up. So I feed the worst. So an engine gasget set will be needed. Any web sites etc I might look .
