Laverda 1000 tool kit wanted

My guess is having the tool kit so the bike is complete, not to actually use them- that's why I bought one!
 
That's why I bought my tool kit as well. But I wasn't that impressed, If I was at that point again, I wish, I wouldn't have bothered. My biggest issue is finding a bag small enough to hold the tools to fix minor stuff but strong enough to not rip apart in days instead of years. I am on bag number 4 over 40 years so maybe I expect too much.
 
I'm on bag number 2 in 27 years. Bag number one was ex military and lasted 2 years, then moved to a Mercedes tool roll.
Has enough slots to carry what I may need, tools are cheapo items.

I was in Supercheap Auto yesterday, and they had a couple of different sizes of drawstring bags made from quite thick material. They might be handy for tool bags on a bike. They were on special price yesterday. Dunno how long that'll last.
 
I might be byist, I have had a few Wood Chistle tool rolls get destroyed over the years as well. I guess carrying tools honed to shave hairs tends to do that.

When I carry tools, it's in Tupperware type containers.

Bought a set of 'Craftsman' combination spanners and other stuff from the PX in Pearl Harbour thirty-three years ago, very good quality. Can't justify the cost of Snap-On kit but I loved using the navy's gear.
 
I started my tool box with Craftsman, but since I was earning my living with my tools, I convinced myself that the upgrade was worthwhile. And for many things it certainly was, like thin wall 1/4” drive sockets, fine tooth ratchets, short combo wrenches and special tools like flare nut wrenches and crows feet. But truth be told for 90% of my work, the craftsman stuff would have been fine.
