Laverda 650 breaking for spares, most parts available including good running engine and gearbox.

I was looking for some parts that I couldn't find so ended up buying a complete bike in fairly good condition.
Engine and gearbox work fine, I have used the bike but now the MOT has run out so I am sadly breaking it.
The ECU has been chipped and the bike has Muller silencers. I also have some silencers and bodywork from a 650 Formula I had many years ago.
Hi Chris,

Do you still have this available?

Ive picked up 500 rolling chassis and was thinking of putting a CBR500 engine in, but would be good to keep it all Laverda.

What parts have you still got, ideally I would like complete engine with inlet manifold, ECU, Wiring Harness, Rev counter, Clutch master cylinder... Maybe it would be easier to take the whole bike off your hands ;-p

it always facinates me that those that "knock" anyone breaking a Laverda will almost inevitably have bought used parts, they have usually come from a broken bike. Think about it. Its OK to buy used parts but its not OK to break a bike!

If Chris can no longer help you let me know. I have all the bits you need.

Hello, new member here. I am the new owner of this bike (frame no. 1194) and would like to thank Chris for being an absolute gentleman throughout the whole purchasing process! You’ll probably see me pop up more often as I work my way through checking for factory recalls etc (service history is nill). I have been doing lots of research and reading many of these threads attempting to gain as much knowledge as possible, starting with an oil service motul 300v 15w50 and installing a flo permanent filter as per recommendations seen on here and other forums, plus checking the over pressure valve and sourcing a new one if necessary. Looking forward to my Zane era Laverda endeavours 👌🏻 Also if anyone knows the bsp measurement for the sight glass and a good alternative for wheel bearing please do tell me! Cheers - Harry
