Hi
Please have a serious look at the rear brake setup  :o
The "anchorage" of the caliper holder does not seem very safe.

Good luck with the sale

Am I the only one who noticed the Crocs with socks ???
I thought we had moved on....
::)
Must be plague proportions of Crocs in Europe

Are the carbs put on the wrong sides? Why put the shock bolts with the nuts outboard? Is that a standard rear disc? MPH speedo and those gauges? Another allen bolt fanatic. At that price comes pickiness I think anyway.

there are two right side carbs installed... Quality Workshop it was... :o

Bolts on the shocks are an easy fix; sometimes done to avoid them touching the wheel or so (self locking nuts are bigger than the original ones)

MPH-Speedo is original, as the bike was imported from Canada (see text); wonder though if it ever got german papers with that...?

Not sure about the discs in total - shouldn't they be drilled?? or was that on a later model...? No sign of wear on the edges of the discs, so I wonder if they were replaced maybe at a point in time?!?

EDIT: Discs seem to be correct (undrilled). Handlebars are not I think (Tomaselli??). For road-usage in Germany, it would be missing the turn signals; maybe there were some installed, as there are 3 holes on each side of the fairing right where the blinkers were originally.

Pretty sure it was never registered for german road usage. Hope it comes with the canadian papers and the import-papers, else there is virtually almost no chance to get it road-legal...

SFCs never came with drilled discs from new. Many wrong parts and clearly built up by someone who has no (Laverda/SFC) knowledge. Needs correct carbs, dynamo cover, tail light glass, handlebars, switches etc, but still a steal!

Ignition switch isn't original.
The connector on the points wires are, that's lovely.

I find it rather expensive in view of todays market.

If you claim this SFC is expensive in today?s market, then that must be based on something. Apparently you know more than I do, Paul, that makes me curious.

Most SFCs change owners without anyone knowing it, except the owner and the new owner, and often me.

I knew you'd say that.
Of course, the only visibility I have is the ones on public sale, that don't sell.

I'd be very interested to know what the market would have to say about mine, once it's disinfected.

Except probably the gas tank and some bolts/screws I can't see "a lot of" shiny new parts on that one  ::)

S.

Nearly all the screws including brake caliper assembly screws, paint of course, at least one of the fork caps, paint on the fibreglass bits.
It looks freshly assembled.

And it's clean. No grease, no mud, no nothing!
