Laverda Bimota on Facebook

I am sick of doing the Dickface links but there has been what looks like a 180 Triple in a Bimota frame posted there in the last couple of days with an interesting 3-into-3 exhaust with a fantastic sound. Very well worth a look.

What page/group?

I usually struggle to refind anything posted in this shit fight but I found it easily for once. Laverda Riders World Wide.

On Malcolm Cox's page. Looks more like a Rickman Laverda but very nice regardless.

It’s a frame built in Bimota HB1 style by a Dutch guy. Great job.

If it were mine, I would have completed it with a HB1 style seat.

Lots of talk about 3 into 3 years ago and that's the first time I have seen and heard one.
many years in the 90's, there was a Guy from Rome coming to the Pompone meetings with a silver 1200 TS with a 3-6 Exhaust. Owefully loud and running like shit... That said, I think it was just 3 exits on each side welded to one tube...

depending how this 3-3 is executed, it might run quite well still.

He now does it with a 1000 SFC.

Look up photos of Jean-Pierre Haemish who used to do the French championships with a triple equipped with a stubby 3/3. (If not stubby, it's only extra weight on an already heavy machine)
He was unfortunately killed racing a Kawasaki.

There was an SFC1000 in Breganze in 2019 with 12 tail pipes, the exhaust looked shit, sounded shit and probably ran shit (apologies to the owner) he also had Ferrari V12 stickers on it. (?????)

At Silberstead a few years ago now (maybe even 20) Hansi Hoppe (who I have lost touch with and that is a great shame) had his long owned triple with three into three exhaust, he was very happy with it, and this an exteremely hard and long rider who would say it was shit if in fact that was the case, his bike also had a kick starter and not much else, very minimal (not even an LT circuit for the starter motor) considering the trips and distances that he did with that bike, I think he was living in Holland at that time and the bike was registered in New Zealand.
CLEM

First loose-leave binder from A. Wagner has a b/w pic of a nice triple exhaust 3CL, chapter 19.
Used to be on his website, now gone.
