timing wheel arrived, and looks great! it gives a touch of professionalism to my workshop... for the time nothing else :LOL: :LOL:

It's helpful to have the valve durations marked. It gives you a mental picture of what's going on. But don't use the opening and closing angles for dialling in the cams. The lobe centre positions are more useful for that. If you're doing the cam timing, you may find it helpful to mark the lobe centre positions (half way between opening and closing) for both cams.
 
mine has arrived and it is as much a work of art as a useful tool, and although McStrap says that he would prefer to mark the cam timing himself, with green and red pen marks, and cant understand why I would bother with A11's,  I like it a lot and will display it as well as use it.
