LaverdaForum funding options

Whew, that was close, I almost felt like I had to add my twopennethworth but saved by the inaudible bell. Well done Rob, anonymous donations is the way to go.
Adios,
Charles
PS should there be a PAY button showing?

I am but I am of only one nationality and the new members are of several different nationalities and may have a different perspective on things much like yourself.
I do not have a different perspective. The others do.
I even spend a lot of time thinking aloud because I always agree and never contradict.

I’d be more than happy to pay whatever is decided but I’d like to see limited access for ‘guests’ so they can get a feel for what they’d be signing up to.

restrict their ability to use the for sale and wanted sections so it’s not a free go at flogging something they’ve found and stop downloads even though screenshots can be taken if the viewer is too mean to pay.

The beauty of it now is that only those who've donated know they've done so, so everybody is a guest. Much better like that.

But of course, I'd reconsider my position if a lurking guest bought a perfect 5000 series 750 SFC on this forum for £5000 as happened only recently. It would be much fairer had he paid his £10 donation or whatever.

Come to think of it, rather than asking professionals to pay to advertise their wares and services here, we should be paying them. It isn't fair that they give up time and give tips for nothing.

I for one will not be selling parts via this forum any more of giving help if possible because I don't know the status of the buyer.
In fact, I've just modified my will. I want to be buried with the ton of parts I still have and have my bikes cremated, at least those that haven't already been so treated.

So...where do I go to make a donation?
Even here is no chance for you:
Unfortunately, due to the unexpectedly high demand, I am currently unable to accept any further orders for Laverda-whips.
We don't have enough original old GT saddle leather for that. I will inform you as soon as I can deliver again.

Amazingly, all of the customers did not wish to be named in the forum as whip-customers.
