Leaking brake hose/joiner

Fixed hoses fitted, he's updated his HEL database about Laverdas with twin front discs, bled and they feel great. He even threw in 22 free crushable washers for free, total charge nada.... Tied the brake lever back for an hour and no leaks at all. Good to go! There's nothing stopping me now!

what a long old saga,
if you really wanted the definitive answer and fast (ie you have got the wrong ends on your hoses) you could have asked HEL in the first place. correct me if I am wrong but you didn't say that they were newly supplied and previously unused.

What surprises me is that there are people removing and fitting items of a life threatening nature without understanding (FULLY) what is right, it just terrifies me. A lad who works for my son Tom, had some problems with his Chinese (ride to work) trail bike, since he fitted a Suzuki (I think) throttle twist grip, and this item has a pin in the clamp to stop rotation, or sliding off, of the same, even if the pinch bolts come lose, there was no hole in the handlebars to accommodate this, and he found himself out of control, fallen in hedge, thankfully not hurt, all it needed was a 3mm hole drilling in the handlebar, and it would have clamped up nice, instead of horribly, and wouldn't have come off, plus the fact that his screwdriver must have been used as a drift before it got to the screws.

take care everyone, if it doesn't seem right it probably isn't.

that could well have been the case with this crash I speak of, but the 16 year old lag was being very economical with the truth, even though Tom was helping him and succeeding  in getting him sorted, the little shit was a lazy  sod who would always stand by and let others do the real work, he didn't last long

I have a stack of copper washers for those M10 banjo bolts. PM me if you can't find any locally.

I think HEL threw in 20 for nicks last time he was there, Cam. I guess we need to know where the leak is coming from before we can offer our endless pieces of varying advice, Drikko  :-*

Thanks cam, as pb2 said they gave me a bag of 22 of them.  Legs,  no,  haven't touched it.  Am looking for a 14 mm one to improve the feeling as per the brake improvement threads.
