Lucas or CEV indicators on an SF1?

When I got my SF1 about 8 years ago it came with a bag of indicators. 2 are CEV and 2 are Stanley (made in Japan) that are a very similar shape.
I've been looking online and a lot of SF1 pictures show them with what look like Lucas indicators.
Does anyone know what it's supposed to have as a mine are pretty scruffy and could do with replacing?
...also any leads on where from?

Thanks

Hmm I'll take some pictures of what I have - there are different styles of CEV indicators and of course of Lucas ones. These are the ones on the Ducati Paddy site - are they correct for a 1973 SF1?

my own, bought new, SF1, (still got it but Eglified in 1979) had CEV indicators, the day of riding out of the shop was 21/05/1973 and I had to wait for delivery so it wont have been stored anywhere for very long, maybe I got it a month after it was completed in Breganze, but that is a guess, it might have been new stock from somewhere else on the planet for all I know! but most if not all drummers (that is the first triples) of the same build period had Lucas, (Ian?) so I would say there was a point when the Lucas ones stopped and the Bosch ones carried on, but again that is a guess, I doubt if anyone realy knows, but SF1's might have started with Lucas and fairly early on in the production, got CEV.

My SF1 (13026) definitely had Lukas switches and CEV indicators.

These indicators (or replicas) are still new to buy from Stein-Dinse, where they are listed for some Ducati models:
Ducati Indicator CEV front/right rear/left side
Ducati Indicator CEV rear/right side, front/left side

And, also at HMB-Guzzi they are stocked for some Guzzi models, there you further can find related fastening rods:
Indicator T3, Cali-2 etc. original CEV, front left, rear right

Here, however, the thread on the rods is specified as M10x1.25, while I measured M10x1.5mm on mine.

Cheers,
Jo

Thanks for spotting Hamish, there's definitely a different lens to see.

Unfortunately I've no detail pictures from the past. Will have a look, there should be an old box with some remains from my SF1 deep in the shed of my parents - there might be a chance of finding something ...

Cheers,
Jo

Those Lucas blinkers is indeed what was fitted to the SF1.

In the Laverda 750 "La Diva" book, indicators appear for the first time for the 74 model year - shown here on an SF2 for the US market with a strange high riser bar:

These are CEV indicators with flat lenses.

In some markets, however, indicators were mandatory from an earlier point in time.
The Lucas indicators look very similar in design to the CEVs though.

Jo

Australian issue SF1 - Lucas. Still have a few - one or two in excellent nick, a few minor scuffs - free to a good home if you pay the shipping from Australia.
