skinny riders!
any comments on Schwantz not being able to get in the premises, being kicked out when they tested there, etc?
I believe he is a Texan and the reason Austin has a race in the first place?
please enlighten me, I tend to think money tops things sometimes when it should not be, but could be wrong...

Marcos had one good flyt so far,if he can keep it that close to the edge for the rest of the season I will be impressed.I wonder how much is talent and bravery and how much is the electronics package.I just hope there is some dicing at some point.

WTF that was an impressive race Marcos is an amazing talent, Pedrosa just became Hondas backup rider.  67degree  from vertical lean angles! how is that possible? The high speed cameras make for some great footage.  Marco has a way to go to catch up with me I have been dragging my arse for years.  How was it at the track Scott?  Cheers Dave

There is a legal dispute between Schwantz and COTA/DORNA.
Schwantz claims he set up the deal with COTA to bring MotoGP to Austin, and that COTA then sided with DORNA with Schwantz left out in the cold.
As a result he is suing them in court. When he rocked up to the circuit he was escorted off the premises and told not to return.

Marc Marquez is so young, nobody has explained that the "law of gravity".  :o

Don't worry, won't be long and Gravity will introduce himself, along with his mates Abrasion, Concussion and Contusion...  :)

Kid's damn quick.  Pain has a way of recalibrating your fear meter though. :)

Did you guys not watch Marc racing in the 125s and moto2 particularly that race where he started from the back of the grid?

He don't fall off very often, he does win very often

hes definetly got his head around the bike already

Agreed it would have been neat to watch him and the fisherman, I reckon there will be some good dogfights this year

and bravo to little Jackie boy, finally worked out how to stay on the bike

no one watch the race ?
was on yesterday and still no comments

pretty boring this time until the very last corner, Marc sure does have aggression

did you all see in Parc Ferme when Marc went up to Jorge to say sorry, Jorge refused to shake hands with him and wagged his finger at him as if to say that was naughty
then on the podium Jorge refused to shake hands with Marc so Marc stuck his tongue out at Jorge when he turned his back and walked away  :D

finally, we have a racer in MotoGP with some character traits  8)
awesome

pity the tyres let the show down, Bridgestone seem to be having trouble this year getting the compound selection correct

That was some weird race, bloody Channel 10 in OZ didn't have time to show the interviews after the race again, supposed to be on there website.Jorge did leave a massive hole open taking that wide line but I doubt Marc would have made the corner and keep on the track without T boning Jorge.I like hard clean passes and this was ugly from both.Oddball lines from all but the winner.Did anyone see who won the race BTW,I missed that bit.Talk about a crash fest. That bit was ugly as well.

Have to say I went to sleep with a smile on me dial after seeing MM take the gap up the inside - such impertinance! Lorenzo sure has got a short selective memory after some of his own moves over the years particularly in the old 250 class. Certainly did`nt cover himself with glory by snubbing MM on the podium. My view is that he just went in way too wide so it was his own fault. Look forward to more of the same this year.

Hey Red,

Well I recon Jorge left the door open and Marc couldn't believe his luck.

Marc is definately going to make it interesting this year.

Oh and once again Dani was the pro and just got on with the job.

Cheers
Bruce

Yeah I saw it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I like Marc's attitude. Very aggressive and he's not in awe of any of them. Unfortunately over here we don't get to see any of the Parc Ferme or podium action and I was wondering what was going to happen. Thanks for filling me in...sticking his tongue out....love it.

Red, interesting you say finally a racer in MotoGP with some character traits.
After all Marquez duplicated the hard move that Rossi made on Gibernau on the same corner some years previously.
I see Marquez as fresh and exciting to watch as Rossi. Super Sic was in the same mould too, bless him.
Once Rossi gets the Yam handling his way, instead of the mantequilla style of Lorenzo I think we will see more of him at the sharp end.

Dani did a great job. Hopefully he has that fire in his belly for the rest of the season.

okay, should have said since Rossi left Yamaha and went to Ducrapi
racing for the last few years has been okay sometimes but the combined personalities of Stoner, Pedrosa and Lorenzo would total the excitement of a granite rock
