Borrowed a sea green 105 2L for a weekend, two bags each of 25kg pool salt in the boot...handled amazing, drained the tank motoring around at happy velocity. Also a Fiat 130 coupe V6 was a notable same era posers car...which i was.

Yes drove a 4 cylinder GTV, think it was a 1750, did they make a 2000?, recall is just like Alfa SUDs, can rust without rain... j
 
That car was an absolute beast. The tech in that race scene was fantastic. Alfi Constanze was the builder driver from memory. Completely wrong names from me. poor memory.
 
Early days, had a job as a driveway service guy where there was also a ROBO car wash..
It stayed open after the garage closed for the day until 8:00.. still lived at home and the old man used to drop me in the morning before going off to his high flying exec job in the city, then pick me up for the drive home..
One time a BMW comes into the car wash, my job is to sponge it down to loosen the crud, and fuel if required before they go into the wash machine.. this numpty sees the green light and drives forward before I have finished the fueling and tears the end off the hose..
No auto shut offs in those days and by the time I have shut the lever at the side down I am covered in fuel..
Dad not so happy when he arrives a short time later to have stinky me sitting in his fancy company car all the way home... :ROFLMAO:

Burping isn't fun if you swallow some of it. I stopped the practice after that attempt. Jerry cans are healthier.
 
Some fuckwit had stopped filling by shutting the lever at the pump and replaced the nozzle into the cradle with the pump handle fully open on the ratchet auto stop. I took out the nozzle as you do, zeroed the counter and opened the lever, to shoot petrol at full pressure right across the servo apron. could have gone very badly.
 
I once accidentally tasted brake fluid. It was awful and it took ages to get rid of the taste. Unforgettable, because I remember it from 1977 or '78.
