New race leathers?

going with Andrew Smart and Ricondi for kangaroo two piece riding suit, AlpineStars Tech Air 5 compatible. Just send back the Custom Tailoring Form and approval of the simple design. Can't seem to figure out how to attach the suit design

now waiting on the jokes as to how I am going to catch a kangaroo to ride it......;););):rolleyes:
 
Moved my rebuilt 668 engine out of the back of the race van, where it has sat for a couple of months, and found the race leathers brochure I had been looking for, for weeks. The company was touting their wares at the BHR event at Cadwell Park. ARN race leathers - www.arnracing.co.uk - Claim to be British based but I guess the suits are made in Pakistan or somewhere nearby. Prices look pretty competitive and the quality doesn’t look three bad either.

that had the same effect on me PLC, goose bumps all over, and thankfully this years TT is on (with changed rules)

one of my favourite spots, the drop from kates to the Creg and some of it filmed from the hotel balcony, a few years ago (OK a lot of years) Mick Grant did the amazing speed of 195MPH on his Kwak water cooled 750 triple, I managed 95MPH on a 400/4 flat on the tank and maxed in every gear, from the Creg (no ligts or cops in those days) down to Brandish, including the blind crest, it was two up

looking forward to my month on the IOM come May/June, but have to buy a new caravan before then

on my new kangaroo leathers from Andrew Smart at Race and Road, I got a parcel shipment tracking message that my leathers from Australia have just reached Houston Texas, supposed to be here to me in western Canada by May 10 as long as they don't get stuck in Canadian customs.....

They do that with zero research and sit on their hands with 1000% more important stuff to do. Amazing. A 30-second google search would explain why this happens, there is a vast difference between Koalas that are at extreme risk and Kangaroos that have one hell of a powerful reproductive system.

Classic case of misplaced ethics.
 
new custom leathers arrived today from Andrew Smart at Race and Road. Great experience, Smarty was great to deal with. Highly recomended. Brand new out of the box this kangaroo hide suit is lighter, more supple, and more comfortable, than my well broken in cow hide suit ever was.

Smarty tells me the suit will break in and further conform to body shape with wear. I expect to be wearing it every day for at least the next week in the mountains in British Columbia....
