Well done good to hear that your labour of love is finally there or just about and you can enjoy playing with it and putting it to good use.
I take it the serial adaptor worked.
Paintwork looks great too  :o

I am really intersted in weather its powdercoated stove enameled or 2 pack :D.Just a little dig at some I know who are very concerned with nicely finished wheels on all there not going bikes.Just the opposite, lots of fully powered Laverdas up north.Get them going. We need more on the road.

Well done all of you, looks like a top rig, I am interested to hear how she does.

Do keep an eye on heat, my experience of mapping the RGA's EFI was that even on a cool day and with a rat cage fan about 1m x 1m moving so much air you couldn't stand in front of it, the engine could not be held under load for any significant amount of time without CHT going well beyond normal operating temps.

Cheers

pretty hopeful you will get to see how she runs, maybe one weekend after the BSFOS is finished

MarkQLD has loaded us up with fans, apart from the two we have mounted we have 1 x centrifugal 2hp unit, 2 x 5hp x 7 blade 3 phase units, 3 x 3 blade x 750mm units.
Will not know until we try but am ready to add extra cooling if needed

Looking forward to getting up North again once this race meeting is out of the way.  Another 1am night last night, bike is a bare frame and a pile of bits on the floor, so that's all good then.  :o

Am sure you'll have the temp thing in hand, was just a reminder to keep a close eye on it till you have a feel for how things respond.
Chains etc arrived yesterday, thanks for that.

Cheers

Went to bed early, huh?

That's racing, Steve.

Always been like that, never occurred to me that it could be any different! :D

jees Steve,I dont know how you and Crispin do it.6 days and counting. To stressful for me that countdown.
I supose its been appart and together so offten you could do it in your sleap.

I was laying carbon fibre 2am this morning on Red's tank, don't need race deadlines to burn the midnight oil!! I'm about to pull it out of the mold so fingers crossed my laying technique has improved since doing the last one.

Hey Red, just noticed your first post in this thread was on 9th of December where you predicted you'd have it close to running in 10 days time.......yeah right.....:)

probably a bit optimistic when I look back now, has been a bunch more work involved then I ever imagined
getting better now, got the brand new Jota pipes on, Mark was over today, between him blowing and sucking on various parts we found 4 more sensors
I can report that Mark can blow 31.5 PSI, suck a lousy 17 in/hg, and can exert 897 ft/lbs torque on the load cell  :D
oh, and he is 29.8C hot  :D  :D

this toy is getting neater by the day
