Haha.
I want a car that works, all the time.
And that can pull a trailer with 2 large bikes on it.

I did hesitate between the Dacia and an F40 which has manual windows but the Dacia dealer was nearer.

Ferrarri F40.  Now that?s a tow car

Skoda actually made electric window motors ? I thought they only used a Tomato Juice can for a brake fluid reservoir ;o)

I think you're harking back to the dark ages, Ron. Skoda is a very sophisticated vehicle now owned by the VW/Audi group. Most of the parts in mine have VW/Audi stamped on them.

And the window motor is made by Valeo in France.
Is the engine a Peugeot?

I have to say when I was looking for a new car I looked at both the Volkswagen and Skoda , even though Skoda is in the Audi/ VW group, the Skoda was far higher quality and finish over the VW as far as the VW Touran was concerned.  That said I ended up with a Volvo.

When I'm buying a car I decide how much I am going to spend (which is never very much) and then buy whatever takes my fancy, there is a huge choice of cheap cars in the UK and some of them cost a lot of money when they were new.
