Good morning, when Moto Laverda acquired the Caproni company in Gardolo to relaunch it, it used its foundry (with experience in the aeronautical sector) to produce the cylinder head and valve guide caps for the 750 and 1000 cc models. After the foundry was closed, it was no longer possible to obtain cast iron of this quality, both in terms of compactness and hardness. Does anyone know exactly what type of cast iron it was? Perhaps spheroidal cast iron?
