Out and About on your Laverda. No bull,Just photos

I haven't yet fitted the extended lever Red sent me for my SFC. Not riding on the road so can cope with it on track.
Use clutchless down shifts so that halves the need to use it.
Been wanting Red's hydraulic cover for the Motodd. That has an extended lever but the clutch action doesnt feel right.
I guess it's just an email away!!!

'Growler fills available' (y)(y) It's a BC thing, love it!
For sure,,,I’m embarrassed to show my growler collection lined up above my kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately the cask ale I was lucky enough to sample on Sunday they were not offering growler fills, and because it was not carbonation ‘delivered’, would not do very well.

Thanks for the heads up on that one. Yes, there are “unique” terms describing things that vary on different areas of our planet. I’m glad I’m capable of offering a picture of the North American word!!!
I will defer to North American artist Eric Fischl, in his 1981 painting 'Bad Boy', to show what "growler" means, over here.
Gustave Courbet's 'The Origin of the World', 1866 also provides an explanation.

Last day of September.
Yesterday was 28° C/83° F, in London.
Cooler today, but perfect on the bike, until I pulled up at a Shell station £2.26 a litre for 99+E5!!! (4.31AUD/$3.00)
They're 'avin' a 🦒!
Tesco £1.81, that's where I filled up. (3.45AUD/$2.40)

SDX looking great there in the sunshine Hamish! Great to have these opportunities to get out in good weather. Yup, this fuel situation is becoming ever more serious and one can only assume the trajectory will remain the same. "Leisure" motorcycling might at some point be forced to sit very much behind essential four wheel journeys as the screw tightens, so well done for getting out and about whilst you can without taking out a fuel bank loan! Maybe it won't get quite that bad but frankly, who knows? I didn't anticipate it reaching the level it has - maybe I just lack imagination!

It's fine, locally we are back into the Inflation Interest Rate twerl, with half the population so stressed, they're looking for salvation and someone to blame. Smells very much like 1933 all over again with the usual suspects salavating in the wings. I badly need to go for a ride.

And in amongst all this we're asked not to mention politics?! This shit show was started by two protagonists who shall remain nameless and it is affecting every one on the planet pretty much. Here in Oz, as Vince said, our Reserve Bank has raised interest rates, cost of living continues to elevate already elevated stress levels for anyone below the average wage, and of course, grievance means pointing the finger at 'someone' ... in our case it seems to be our government, when the elephant in the room is clearly the aforementioned duo and a huge spike in oil prices. And that in itself is a licence for those holding the cards to make massive profits. FFS, no wonder the planet is going to shize.

Apologies for being 'political' but I am affected, even if not in a dire financial situation. But don't worry, AI will fix it! Failing that, here in the land of plenty, we have a populist anti-immigration party waiting in the wings with all the answers.

Answers, maybe. But no real solutions.

Right wingers just love the poorly educated... seems to be the same the world over!
