Sid, so an rga seat is a straight swap for rgs? And a big improvement?
Yes the structure is the same - I just had to transfer the lock and add a couple of washers to the lock shaft - this seat has had less use and comes further up the tank so giving a bit more protection to the tank , my original RGS seat is compacted - the only downside is the pillion part is not as level as the original so will see what my wife says when we go out . I haven’t checked to see if the cowling fits but seeing as I am using it for long distance the panniers and rack are staying in for the moment - the RGA bars also make this a good tourer - I think it looks pretty Smokey as a package

Nice, I managed to get hold of a set of rga bars for my Corsa, very good riding position..... only downside is it kicks you up into the breeze above the screen. Ho hum!

Fellas, be mindful that the RGA seat can very easily mark the back of the tank. I've glued a piece of old towel to the front underside of my RGA seat, which works a bit - but next time I use it I'll be adding something else to reduce the likely damage to the tank.
I guess it's OK if you intend to use the RGA seat indefinitely, but swapping back to the original seat can very easily leave you with a skanky looking tank area :(

Yes good point - Grant preferred the RGA seat and I had to work hard on it to look reasonable when I went to standard seat

No picture (sorry) but the 1200 went out today after the engine was pulled to do a head gasket and check timing etc..

Ran well (pleased) on a short testing run, but I've mis-adjusted the gear selector and couldn't get below 3 on the way back.

I'll call that good 👍

Here we are allowed Lee, same as riding a bicycle for exercise.
In fact, way safer for everyone concerned than riding a push bike, with all that panting and sweating going on.
Full helmet and gloves, no contact. (y) (y)
And even a short ride is great for your mental health, what are we now? week 8 or 9..... lost count... dont even know what day it is FFS:)
cheers
Tom
And.... circumference = 2*pi*radius, so 5km radius becomes 31.4 km😀 lap. Unless you live on the coast, then half of that is in the water.😕.
