Part numbers for Veglia gauge

Went and had a look at the Veglia on my TT2 but can't help.
There is a label but the years and 36 hours in water make it unreadable.
It's not the same instrument. 2 to 16 000 revs in 1000 rev increments.

Marnix may be on to something but 20 000 revs for a Formula?

If anyone on the Forum is interested in buying the Veglia gauge I have let me know before I post it up on eBay. See pictures from earlier posts in this thread lots of helpful information from other members too. $500.00 US. free shipping, a similar genuine item from Japan is currently listed on eBay for $950.00US o_O:eek:

I would be very interested ...... but the 1:4 on the label steers me away. Sorry.

I' ve got a spanking new one as well that I brought in the mid 80s. I'll dig it out and check the numbers.
Pretty sure it won't suit any of my Lavs other wise it would be mounted to the Motodd.
Were they ever made in a 3:1 ratio?

Got mine from Lance, RIP 'Rickey Racer' in Costa Mesa Ca. I had plans to use it and Lance assured me it would work on the Jota??? I trust the experts on this site that Laverdas use a 3:1 ratio, Lance had a Lav triple dragster that was fitted with a Veglia like the one I have (looked the same). I will try to find those dragster photos very unique bike, custom drag frame top of the tank was about 18'' above the ground big square profile slick tire and automobile wheel on the back, very interesting machine. saw it run at Pomona drags in the '80s a consistent class winner. Lance was selling it I wonder where it went?

I would really like to know if these Veglia tacho's can be had with 3:1 ........ I have asked many places that repair them and no one seems to know.
