Parts for older Orlandi/Paioli fuel taps?

I bought a pair from Benelli Bauer years ago for my 900 Sei, but was disappointed when they arrived because they were just normal fuel taps without the see-through plastic bowl. The original taps on the bike had the plastic bowl.

I don't reckon 3D printing would be any good even if you could find a fuel-resistant printing medium. They need to be transparent like glass and I can't see that happening with a printed product.

Actually, I reckon glass would be a good material to make them out of if you could find someone who could do it. Any glass blowers on the forum?
Got a Nephew in Canberra who’s studying and working for a local artist, specialising in the art of blowing 😉 anyone got a sample in Aus...... no harm in asking.
 
OK, using dimensions provided by arancia, I've drawn it up. Rounded the dimensions to the nearest 0.5mm.

Also included a suggested arrangement of an alternative made from tube as suggested by James. Glass has excellent fuel resistance and would last indefinitely.

Borosilicate glass tube is available in 18mm OD with 1.8mm wall thickness, which would do the job nicely. Obviously it will need (fibre?) gaskets each end of the glass tube. No idea how to cut a 12mm length of 18mm glass tube with nice flat and square ends though. I guess the ends would need to be ground. Something tells me that parting it off in the lathe would not be a good idea.

However, clear acrylic tube is available in 18mm OD x 2mm wall thickness, and that will part off OK with a lathe. That might be a simpler option and less likely to break when the bolt is tightened up. It would certainly make a nice clear sight glass and has good* fuel resistance. Dunno how it'll last long term though. It could end up looking like the stained yellow ones in arancia's photos in a year or two (I suspect they're acrylic). But if you have a length of acrylic tube, you can simply cut off another piece.

* "Good" chemical resistance is defined as "Little or no damage after 30 days of constant exposure to the reagent." It's one step down the scale from "Excellent"
