I use one of Paul Goff's that Rob mentioned. It's in around CEV tail light. It's very good. Rear facing red LED and radial white LED for the number plate. I originally tried a white rear facing LED from elsewhere. This was less bright,and didn't illuminate the number plate. The radial led also makes use of the silver reflector, making the illumination look bigger, less of a spot light.
