Rewiring 79 1200?

I've said it before but ... use 'mil-spec' teflon coated wire if possible.

That does mean building up a new loom but with a little thought it's pretty easy. Maybe not for every one though.

I generally think of all automotive circuits as single wires (frame earth) and you can think it through. Solder where you can and heat-shrink.

Did the full rewire on my 76 with a new harness from Wolfgang, new made rather than NOS. The longest time was pulling down the old harness as I made diagrams of those stupid connectors in the headlight shell to ensure all the "colours" went back in the right place. Was easier than I thought it would be.
