RGS front brake master cylinder

G'day folks,
Need a new front brake master cylinder for my RGS. Could anybody tell me which bore size is required?
The only info on the m/c is: 10.2729.00

Snapped off the lower support for the lever, managed to get the lever mounted using just the upper support which was good enough to help get it on and off Ian DeLaines trailor but not safe enough to try and ride home on.
Here's a thought; was gifted a set of Brembo 4 pots (single pin type) and adaptors, any idea what master cylinder would suit them?

I opted to replace the MC on my RGS with the modern equivalent PS15 rectangular one from Ducatipaddy https://www.ducatipaddy.com/page29.html
What a difference! Vast improvement in feel and performance - and a decent price too.
I also fitted the (almost) matching clutch MC - much lighter action.

No great problem fixing that, have done it several times!

Hi Alan, just wondering what led you to need to replace the master cylinder on your RGS? ::)
Was there an incident that left the original damaged?

Bit reluctant to risk a repaired m/c on something as critical as the front brakes but that's just me. No criticism with regards to your repair Piet, just peace of mind on my part.
I see 15mm m/c are readily available here in Aus, and they work well with four pots?

With four spots I think the 13mm is more suited..... I will check this out tomorrow Terry, supplier of master cylinder should be able to point you in the right direction.

No sweat Terry.

15mm Brembos are actually 15.8mm/5/8", ideally suited to 4-potters.

well not that cheap actually Cosi, but bang on, that is the way to go, I used a Kawasaki mc for a few years but when the 916 mc went on, there was a massive improvement in every area as regards pleasure from the front brake.

Best ask our mutual acquaintance MT, he of campervan fame - never to be forgotten, of course :-* :D
(but it was the clutch MC that suffered, as you know) ;)
 
Thanks for the answers guys, looks like the solution might be to get a 15mm m/c and mount the 4 potters that have been languishing in a drawer for the last couple of years.

so you wouldn't ride around on a frame (or chassis) that consists of a pile of bent and straight tubes welded together then.

Piets repaired item could actually be stronger than stock, probably is.
