Yes, the coils are connected directly to the battery with a fuse in between. Same problem. Sachse ignition: 2 earth connections, 1 directly to the battery, 1 to the frame. Sachse themselves often say that 1 is enough but 2 is better. Cable: 1mm².
I had the same problem with the DMC.
I’ve now realised that as soon as the oil temperature gauge starts moving, the problem begins…
As I said, all the bits and pieces I’ve fiddled with so far have brought some improvement. At first it would cut out completely; now one cylinder cuts out partially, and if I give it a good rev, it runs fine again for a while…
But what did I actually end up doing?
