Rough Montjuic

My gut tells me the seller is playing poker. AFAIK there aren't many people who wake up ready to pay £8k for this kind of boik. Don't let yourself get worked up.

Hi Jo, understand your comments but not sure i want to miss out either.
What value would you put on it??
Less than 7000 miles, 35 years last owner. Ticks over and revs cleanly.
Would appreciate a value. I'm already at £7k

£7k is about right in my opinion and also at these strange times.
Remember, anyone can view this forum.
Make the offer to meet the seller half way.
Be fair to him and let him be fair to you.
Also you can feel good about it that you did not purchase in the silly prices era.

Thank you, understand its a public forum. Cheers Ian

Yes that one. I can still access the post via links i sent to me mates, not sure they have taken down.
Seller very helpful, Richard Slater confirms genuine. They say they have several Europe bids but don't want hassle of shipping etc.
Price is supply/demand and ultimately what im prepared to pay. Low miles if genuine, current owner 35 years.
The photos are still on the Laverda Facebook page but the for sale post has gone. Click Recent Media on the right of column & then scroll to below pics & click See All..

If low mileage verified, then seven is the number. If a thousand quid more doesn't mean friction with your significant other or mortgage, then go for it! I overpaid for my 3C, but with three thousand miles....!

I agree Andy, a good buy because you don't want a bad buy.
7000 miles (of Monty fun) run in nicely, then head down and give it some 😋 lick.

From the photos posted on Facebook, it looked like it had been an everyday hack, not a garage queen !
There was a fair amount of cosmetic work to be done. Certainly more than a once round with the T-Cut & the Solvo Autosolve at the weekend !
Personally, my first concern would've been to get cam cover off & check valve clearances, cam chain tension, spark plug condition, compression check & finally drain the oil. That will tell you way more than a speedo that's piss easy to disconnect(y)
