That is one mean chunky front tyre there. I fitted a normal trials universals to my SF for riding the 1300km dirt that used to be between Pt Augusta and Alice, were brilliant for everything except cornering and braking on bitumen.

Just got home 1200 mile round trip … thanks to CLQ for a top weekend. If you weren’t there then too bad so sad…
oh and a big thanks to Belinda and Paul for the bed Friday night and Bruce and Cosi for the lubrication on Friday night…

Around 12,000 km on the sf2 now, the last 2 in the pissing rain. Apart from the tyre issue at guyra, she is ready for around Oz!

Tom and I made it back home last night, hell of a lot of rain thats for sure
rode through Lismore and Casino on the way up, words can't describe what is going on there.
Stopped in on Red and Max for a night and then Dave and Linda for a night in Kew, theres nothing quite like Laverda hospitality

Was a fantastic meet, great to catch up with all the Queenslanders, hell of a lot of laughs and a good time was had by all.
Sensational, well done, especially as the main instigator got sick and ended up in hospital the week before.
Also worth mentioning, was Mr Moose's effort with his knobby front tire, bloody hell, glad that wasn't me thats for sure, well done Marty
