July 30/2023, the Cdn govt banned zero ethanol gasoline. Those of us who live close to the USA/Canada border can easily find E0, at least in Washington state, but it takes careful investigation and testing random samples at the local pumps to see if it’s still available. And it is. Because instant mandates by government cannot be met by the petroleum industry here, as entrenched environmental roadblocks with significant approval steps of 10 years + mean a significant shortage of ethanol here. I bought E0 down the street from me last night, and put the word out to buddies to grab some for winter storage of their bikes/lawn care/classic cars.

Lucky man. Some starions here have ethanol free 98 but it is disappearing fast. It seems that regular riding is ok with the higher ethanol content but a bit of a disaster if it stays in the system over winter.

I do use "Marvel Mystery Oil". My dad used it. Been around a long time. I don't know what is in it but it is a pretty red colour. Rather than slag off your choice of SeaFoam I googled a bit more and found this

I use Gibbs Lubricant for everything in the garage. Not easily available to me locally, so I really do buy it by the case. Check it out.

and I refuse to allow WD 40 anywhere near my garage or near anything in the garage.

EDIT - turns out I have been using a "SeaFoam" product without noticing. I have been using "Deep Creep" penetrating oil for quite a while without noticing it is a SeaFoam product. Works well for me.

Why don’t you like WD40? I buy it by the gallon and add some oil to it to give it a bit more go.
 
Once I tried actual penetrating oil I have stopped using WD, its chalk and cheese. Now if I needed to dewater a set of points then maybe.
