Won't be mine either even with "a discuter". An interesting concoction, I wondered if it still existed. On FB it was mentioned that it didn't even qualify for the 200 miler in ?73. Would I be able to win in classic racing here with it?
 
would you want to pay 500GBP for my owned from new 32 year old caravan, which has about 200,000 miles on its clock, the body separating from the rotten floor? hot water and flush loo inop, everything steel going rusty, roof light leaking
someone did, but for the life of me I cannot think why, I was giving it one advert, then tow to the scrap yard if it fails, a journey that I would have undertaken very gingerly indeed, I would have put two cargo straps all the way around it at least. 500 quid? that is madness and might even have something to do with Covid.

Old metal and plastic. Make it a Laverda caravan and you'll have 30 pages of discussion on whether to restore the priceless thing or not.

I was trying to point out how strange people are when it comes to spending money.

First series Laverda caravan looked horrendous and seemed to be a modified cargo carrier/box trailer, the second type (called Mirage and using familiar badges) was pretty much standard fare for the time, PK had one as Slaters were officially UK concessionaires, but (we have heard this before) they were too expensive for a market that could not see any benefit from the extra cash. I have no idea how many (if any) they sold, but for sure PK had one, probably long dead by now I would think, any one know more?

are the 45.000 what you get with the bike or what? at least he would have to give me that amount so I park it in my garage...

Segoni were known for good frames but none of the others I have seen looked anything like this.
 
One time in 2006 or some years later a Segoni was at the Bikers Classic in Spa and I was in the same group. I wondered about the good performance of this 750 where I was running a SFC 1000.

As this is a truely unique bike with pedigree, I'd snap it up immediately if I had spare cash.  Unfortunately, I don't...

More desirable to have 1 of 1, instead of 1 of 539(?) imho. :D

Thanks to V2 Ventiler.
I forgot a 1 of 1. Ex Bruno Cretti racer with a works frame. Not SF but not yet SFC. Drum SFC head with 36mm Amals. Magnesium points cover. Magnesium selector cover. 230 magnesium Ceriani.
Pulled to bits by Marnix and I 25 years ago.
Still in bits. Crank needs doing.

Would look nice alongside a Segoni monocoque.

My bikes are all unike, as I modified them (just like Segoni but not to that degree). So they are all 1 of 1... and many bikes out there have unique features - are they all collectables??

I am not a collector and don't have that gen in my DNA. Even if I had that cash, I would not buy it. simply to ugly to get loved...
 
'Works' is an interesting word - I suppose it means 'made by the factory for s specific racing purpose'? A certain 'one-offedness'? My new tail lights are 'works' items, out of my garage ... as is nearly every piece of my speziale.

I dig the Segoni for it's out-there-ness'.
