That?s a valid point and Paul will most likely be  correct in what he says.
What I can say with certainty from personal experience is that on a bike fitted with an 18? Laverda front wheel both a Speedo from a nameless Yamaha and one from a Honda VT1100 read very accurately.
 
Nobody noticed, but in the last pic the starter cable crosses into the fuel line, I wonder why... is it a gas-energeticising trick to be faster?

How would you know Paul? you?ve never seen or ridden it. It probably is slow in terms of top speed but it?s very agile and quick on real roads. I don?t seem to ride faster than 80mph on public roads nowadays on any bike; it just doesn?t seem to be worth the hassle with speed cameras and mostly busy traffic.

Can't even comprehend racing that bike with that drum brake on the front!

Honda tachos read faster when fitted to a Lav - I lost my speedo drive when i fitted a TZ 4LS front brake to the SF1 and had a Honda K model tacho - worked a treat as a speedo: in 4th 1000rpm was 10mph, in 5th 1000rpm was 20kph. Not sure about Honda K model speedos, but as Tippie points out, the 19 inch front wheel probably makes them a non starter - though the common tendency for over-reading speedos might have been countered by the 18 inch wheel!!
 
No telling how Fast you are going to get her to go but guaranteed brown steaks in your under wear ;o)

Nothing wrong with that double Shoe Super Feriene drum in the front, better then dual discs in the rain.

Shoe her with a BF Bridgestone 120 rear and a 100 front.
