Sfc1000 fuses and what is this purple wire?

Yes Clem, do try to keep up... ;)

Vague Liars after the Smiths debacle. First few got black-faced instruments, then switched to trendy white.

It was in the sub loom, in the plastic sleeve, but when I was investigating I pulled it VERY gently and it clearly was not connected, if I find a permanent solution I will try to get it back in the sleeve, I have white temp gauge btw, cable speedo and tacho. I agree, a waste of effort, volt/amp would be better, maybe,
