Hello Paul yes you are right, overall lengths are there, however not the length of each threaded part - do you happen to know what they are?Aren't they in the parts list?

Just asking about exhaust studs and camshaft support blocksNot usually, crankcase to cylinder head studs, for example.
Short of taking one out, I can't say for sure, Russ, but, in my experience, not usually threaded equally at both ends.Just asking about exhaust studs and camshaft support blocks
You can measure the thread in the head with a depth gauge.Short of taking one out, I can't say for sure, Russ, but, in my experience, not usually threaded equally at both ends.
Have Mr Marx put a little garlic in the scrambled eggs. Makes them a yummy treat. Thanks Mr Marx, just scrambled eggs for me this morning![]()
Just egg on toast for me this morning"I made the omelette with a bit of diced potatoes and some diced mushrooms."
that's not an omlette its a Tortilla and not the Mexican type but the Spanish type.
Russ, no harm whatsoever in both applications using threaded rod, (ie studding) no one sees them, the threads are rolled not cut and are stronger, I use hexagon hand made, closed end, sleeve nuts for the exhausts so that there is no exposed threads outside the nut, and hence no rusting, I also lockwire them via 1.5 mm drilled holes.

An omelette with a filing is a hamburger or some other sort of foreign food poisoning waiting to happen, but it isn't an omelette.
Any help?
