If the cheese doesn't move, it's dead. Cheese is a living thing, like you and I.

Can't believe not one mention of the modified tubeless wheels, that's a no go for me, I'd be putting tube type tires back on

Because it's a non-issue; not once has anyone reported it to be a problem despite riding tubeless for decades, with several reporting blowouts and stubborn refusals of tires to leave rims. Someone here rode their Lav miles at slow speeds with a flat tubeless tire, another had a high-speed flat without issue.

Same with spoked wheels and no tubes, you sealed internal spoke holes with Hi-Tech 3m tape. Some bloke rode right around Oz completely, 15000ks approx with that done with zero issues.

once you have modified the hole for the tubless valve....... can you safely go back to tubes???
CLEM

I suspect so, all I had to do was make the depression around the valve stem hole inside the wheel round so the valve stem rubber washer would seal. Can't see why a tube valve wouldn't work the same vs the original oval hole. It holds air as well as anything I've had.
