The 4-wheel drive project

I never liked them, they blow all the germs and microbes in the toilet room all over you. Germs from fecal matter that are broadcast everywhere whenever the toilets are flushed.

Probably true but where are the millions it kills, my favourite public health comment I heard years ago was separating the arse from the mouth is always a good idea. Said after a public water supply on a street was traced to lots of deaths in London before proper sewers were built.

Does it get hot enough to kill the germs? I have no idea, but some have a UV light that does. The Dyson is popular, but I don’t know if it has UV. Why all public toilets don't have UV lights is a mystery to me.

I remember years ago some public toilets had lighting that didn't allow you to see veins so you couldn't shoot up. I am happy to just find one that's reasonably clean and works these days. So many petrol stations in the bush just don't have public toilets at all. The latest trend is a virtual shipping container-type building with zero facilities.

Ducati survived thanks to government control.
And in no small part, from being in Bologna, not in the Veneto. We forget about 'Bologna la Rossa' these days. A social uprising in Breganze wasn't ever going to bother the authorities in Rome much ...

And in any event, before the Castiglionis stepped in, the plan was for Ducati was to cease motorcycle production entirely and only make static and diesel engines.

But Ducati had this belt-driven engine, see, that Claudio thought might prove useful. Laverda? A selection of 2 strokes only of interest to the home market, an argumentative 500, and a fancy V6 that didn't seem to have much of a future ...
