Terry: As a historian, I suggest research about the Battle of the Coral Sea, Guadalcanal and Savo Island (Iron Bottom Sound). Australia was right in the mist of it with your Beaufighters: Darwin, Port Mosby and New Guinea, Robel, New Caledonia  .. etc. Solomon and New Hebrides Islands.

Aussies were RAAF with Beaufighters were as Canadians were RCAF with Mosquitoes - 1st raid on Berlin.
 
No didn't specialise in small arms. What do you want to know about torpedoes and cruise missiles? Wait a minute, if I told you I would have to shoot you :D

The irony of course is that there are many who also think like that and decide the answer is to vote for even bigger f**kwits leaving us in an even bigger mess with single issue candidates who have no idea about compromise or running a country.

Very easy really. If you want to waste 160mil on a slanging match and plebiscite on gay marriage and also end up spending more for health care, subsidising international companies with tax cuts, and bringing back the worst of the Joe Hockey budget which did not make it through the "feral" Senate, then you know exactly who to vote for.

The opposite holds true as well.

Yes, I like the brick with eyes, and in fact have a lot of time for most of the smaller party/independents in both the senate and the lower house. I hope Windsor, Oakshot and the sheila in Indi, Cathy McGowan all get voted in (I can't begin to say how much I despise that bitch Sophie Mirabella - the pig with lipstick)
 
They reckon Nick Xenephon will ruffle a few feathers in SA. Hope he does and gets rid of that mincing poodle Pyne.

Rather than just looking at making a surplus you need to look at GDP per head of population in Australia and compare it to GDP per HOP for the OECD. That will show who are the best financial managers when global financial times are tough rather than when all is going swimmingly.

I was a dedicated Liberal voter up until around 25yo. Born and bred into a Liberal voting household. All went well until I started to think for myself and actually analyse what is being said rather than blindly accept it as gospel truth. Not at all helped by my profession where I am confronted by folk loose with the truth on a daily basis and I have to look at hard facts rather than the spoken word. Now my vote wanders all over the shop depending on who is telling the biggest porkies and the track records of those standing in my electorate.
 
Terry: Aside from your Military Service with Hi-P0 round experience, which we respect in service, why can't an Australian Civilian load a 5 round Semi-Auto MA1, SVT40 or Gyhver 43 RIFLE in Australia? 

Makes no sense to me.

Cos we got fucking sick of people shooting up groups of people they did not know just because they were looney toons and felt like it. Makes it damn hard to shoot 50 people if you have to reload after every shot rather than just keep pulling the trigger.
 
The rifles I commented on are 1000 Yard rifles NOT ASSAULT weapons like the AK or AR Pee-Shooters designed to kill People within 200 yards.
