The Aussie depository.....

Hey Cam, how would the Tassie cops go with this then

Not sure about that Chris, but I suspect a tank would be OK, so long as you have the appropriate permits and the weapon systems are disabled. I don't reckon you'd be allowed to take it on the road though, unless it was a special event.

Always wanted to put missiles in that Rickman Fairing to ward off chain draggers.

But my Breganzie was fast enough.

Ever rode through a pac of Hell's Angel's  - I have.

If I had been riding Jap bike - I would not have stood a chance in Hell.

Needed permission of every one of them Hog Riders to go by - Like about 200 of them :o

It took some time with the leader of the pac and some 50 miles later before he waved me on with my SF surging.

That's respect for a fellow motorcyclist and an incident I will never forget while riding my Breganzie.

There's no way I could have pulled that off on my Suzuki 1100 GWX-R and would still behind them slow pokey's.

Just something about the sound of a Hi-Revving twin and that Big front BREV drum brake that mesmerizes Hog Riders - LOL.

Me to, can't help myself. Got in the shit with a 'weekend warrior' for going around the outside of him on a Yammy XT 600. Told him to get a big black dog up him but not in a friendly manner, he was a Ulysses member so I was pretty safe :D :D.

Instant mince  :o

Nah! Moose steaks with a single shoot through the heart at 400 yards with a Lee Enfield.

Actually moose meat doesn't have much protein but tastes great - Deer meat is much better.

Meat that isn't protein? Wow. You need to patent it and sell it to the world.

Actually the last thing you want to do is hit the heart of a Moose. It weighs 10 lbs and the best meat. Just shoot below it and destroy the lung ventricles.

About 500 to 1000 miles north of me you get into Caribou, Polar Bear and long legged green eyed Artic White Wolve country. Arctic Wolves are your Dog in the hunt, if you know what your doing. Get to James Bay and your into big time Sea Mammal territory.

Only Aboriginal Natives have the right to HARVEST with our TX Dollar paying FREE Dental, Health Care, Housing and Education... etc.

I haven't hunted since the mid 80's and can't see why Australians can't own a Lee Infield to take    out your pesky Roo's and Crocks.

How about Semi-Auto 30 Mag 22 Rim Fire rifle to contain your Rabbits.

If it ever comes to the day when their going to take my Lee Enfield away - I'll HIDE IT.

It's the mobs of drop bears you have to watch out for in Aussie, not the crocs and roos.

Sounds like a good idea banning automatic weapons. Did that happen after the Port Arthur affair?

Yep. The only good thing the Teflon Kid did was to don his kevlar vest and ban semi-auto anything. Cost me a Stirling .22 semi-auto and a Hi Standard 12G semi auto but who cares. Not much use for these things on a city block - apart from the neighbours cats and the odd fox. They actually paid me more for the guns than I had paid for them when I bought them.

As this gun topic continues:  The bolt action Lee Enfield 303 is perfectly legal in Aus, provided you have the appropriate training, licence and storage.
One more time!
Bolt and lever action rifles are legal, semi and fully automatic rifles are not - period.
Hand guns are legal, provided you have the above and are a registered gun club member.
We are happy with these laws but there are always exceptions, if they are caught, they go to prison.
Personally I am very happy with these laws, I don't feel I have to arm myself to the teeth to protect myself against my fellow citizens.
