The Aussie depository.....

Think Ian was referring to the Crows/Port 'Showdown' and came out as a Crows supporter :o. Seems the Crows knew they were going to a showdown but Port thought it was a 'Slowdown'. ???

Yes CK Demolition Derby by your boys  :o  dare i say it they are looking good at the right end of the season !

We was robbed down at the Geelong fortress  :'(
But hey we had a crack.......

Fremantle were shit - no news there.
Geelong looked good at Shellshock
GWS looked very comfortable away from home.
The Bombers looked better losing by 40+ points to Adelaide than the Eagles did winning by 17 against Carlton.
Several teams hoping the Saints have a 1point win over Melbourne and the Eastern Magpies beating those from the Port..
Going to be a very interesting next 2 rounds with places at the bottom half of the 8 all up for grabs.

Hubble bubble, toil and trouble. Just stirring the pot Maurice ;). Now that the Hawks are out of the eight I thought I'd support the home team, until next season. GO EDDIE

To insert a question about a legit international sport here...

What's the word on the dropping of the Perth franchise from super Rugby ?  Corruption ? Money talks ?
From this side of the ditch it looks very odd...

Locally of course she's sweet, Crusaders back where they belong again.

Slimey bunch of Eastern States wankers made the decision because they found it the easiest legal pathway and none of the original 3 teams were ever going to be hit despite their poor performances. WA is the Australian state with the third greatest number of registered Union players and the number of juniors was growing thanks to the Force's community rugby programme, has one of the largest supporter bases and has been producing an increasing number of players for the Wallabies. The Force came 2nd in the Australian conference has cost less in financial support from the ARU than either the Brumbies or the Rebels. The most common sense thing to do would have been to merge two of the Eastern States sides, most logically the Brumbies and the Tahs to keep 1 team in each Rugby playing state + 1 to try and grow the game in Victoria but then the same fuckwits who have destroyed Australian Rugby are still in charge ...

What Davo said, it's not until you live away from the eastern fringe that you realise how much of the rest of the country is ignored, led by the prime minister of the eastern suburbs. ;)

Well, now that it's been discovered that your Deputy PM is a defacto Kiwi, surely some logical direction can come from government....Or maybe not.

That discovery, BTW is the source of much amusement here....

Yep, going straight on to 'joke of the week'. Knew he was Deputy PM of the east, just didn't know how far east.

You can keep the dumb fucker.

I'm not a fan of Barnaby Joyce, nor do I support the National Party. But it seems to me a stupid thing that he is considered to be a foreign citizen and therefore ineligible to hold public office. He was born in Australia, grew up in Australia and still lives in Australia. He never applied for NZ citizenship, or even knew that NZ citizenship was automatically his by default. He is only considered to be a NZ citizen by the NZ government because his father was a Kiwi.

If his political opponents want him kicked out of office it should be for a sensible reason, not something as pissweak as this.

My mother was born in Scotland. Does that make me a UK citizen by default? Well, in my particular case it doesn't. It only makes me eligible to apply for UK citizenship, but it doesn't happen automatically. The rules are complicated though. If it was my father who'd been born in UK, or if I had been born a decade later, I would have automatically been a UK citizen.

The point I'm trying to make is that the rules are determined by legal meanderings of a foreign government which have nothing to do with Australian law. Shouldn't we be making our own rules about this sort of thing?
