The Aussie depository.....

I watch the sports reports on the tv and they mention all these different names; most of the time I don't know what sport they are talking about let alone where which team comes from.
The only sports I follow are AFL, Rugby Union, test cricket, some motor sports and World Cup skiing.

For the many on here that have no idea (or interest) in this game it should be noted that the Scorchers colour is Orange so that should get the anti orange brigade on here going for the Heat:LOL:

BTW - Pays not to get to bound up in what professional sporting teams call themselves. All just about the marketing and stupid doesn't come into it if money can be made....................................

There in lies the problem…. way too much money spent, and made, on sports.

If only feeding the needy could raise revenue
 
Not sure why there has to be a binary conclusion like that!?
Anyway, will cease and desist.
Normal transmission can resume and discussion revert to AFL which doesn't seem to evoke the same displeasure, disdain or philanthropic concerns!

Yeah, keep it up. I don’t mind a bit of ball sandpaperping.

I went to the MCG for the boxing day test about 25 years ago, rain delayed play …… talk about pissed? I can’t remember how my brother in law and I got home, neither could he. A great day at the cricket.
 
Got a late call yesterday with free Superbox tickets at the MCG. Not my preferred way to watch the footy but free feed, free grog, free reign 🥳 Cats v Magpies
