Dear all,
starting from the point every bike is wonderful for hundred or thousand of reasons (feeling, memento, mechanical solutions, and whatever) I would like to touch the base (taking advantage of this international audience) and ask which could be considered the ugliest bike ever built.
For this poll only official brand bikes sold are allowed (no custom because at the worst there is no end...).
Picture is appreciated.
(if only someone could start a new collection...)

I begin with a must: Aprilia Mot?

There are many, a BMW R1200 ST is high on my negative list:

The Philippe Starck Aprilia is a very pretty bike, only not designed with maintenance in mind. None are nowadays anyway.
It is a more than 30 years old design remember.

Laverda triples after the 3C however are not the prettiest bikes by far.

I think the 1st 2 bikes mentioned are not too bad. That pic of the Aprilia probably doesn't do it justice.
I used to agree about the BMW K1 but now I think they have some sort of appeal 8)
If you want an ugly BMW how about the R1200C :o

Gday Paul or you could extend that to after the series 1 Jota's

Went to the launch of the r1200c at our local shop, we are there having a beer and nibbles when this engine roars into life and bursts through this make believe door.
Think of James bond as that's the same bike and it was impressive the drama the noise everybody was excited and then me and my mate noticed the exhaust had a microphone on it, which went via a pa system into the showroom which was where we were having the drinks.
And to top it off The bike sounds worse than it looks in fact it sounded like an asthmatic 400 four honda.
Regards Andy 😁

Quite agree, the Aprilia is very attractive!

First Gen Multistrada, horrible. And penned by the same bloke who did the sublime Single Cylinder Ducati race bike. Talk about hit and miss. I am not a fan of the Insectoid look of most modern bikes, I like curves, not straight pointy bits. I wonder why.

Insectoid  :D
Excellent word to describe the fashion trend with a lot of modern bikes.
I agree with your aesthetic opinion. My Benelli Tre-K is a bit angular and ugly. Not quite as insectoid as its TNT brother though.

Yes, as soon as they put fairings on them.
And the UK variants are particularly cumbersome.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholding.
