Ultrasonic cleaner liquid

Fingers crossed for you. I've had a few clean carbs after having been through the ultrasonic bath several times that still had blocked idle passages.

I did do some online 'How To' & 'What To Expect' research regards the do's & don'ts, good practice, bad practice aspects of putting carbs through the ultasonic clean process. I have subsequently blown through every single hole on the carb body, & every single item that fits into or onto the carb body, using my trusty drinking straw, & all is good !!

Very good experience with "Elma ETC A4".

Elma produced a number of industrial ultrasonic cleaning lines for my company. The guy handling their testing lab gave me a sample for carbs. Warmed up the liquid to 60-70 deg. C. Carbs disassembled. Put in the Ultrasonic ( I own a small no name one) medium power let it run for about 10 minutes. Amazing to watch how the brown stains on the carb body disappear.
