At the Trofeo Rosso track weekend for Italian bikes in central France, there was a model maker from Italy selling very high quality model motorcycles, hand made. The kits are very finely detailed, have a look at the man’s site. We approached him asking if he’d be interested in producing a model of the Bol d’Or Laverda V6. The answer was yes and the man would be quite willing to go to Breganze and detail the bike. He would need to produce a series of 15 models minimum to make it worth his while. Price would be approximately €250 give or take, plus shipping obviously.
The purpose of this mail is to see if there’s enough interest, if that’s the case, the maker will be given the go ahead and we’ll then go to stage two which would be a down payment from those interested. It’ll likely be a long process in the making, a year or so. There’s no profit for any body concerned, apart from the maker of the kits.
