Hi Chef,
I like the look of it however I am biased in owning a similar machine and I’ve always had a soft spot for that particular fairing style.
Price wise it may be a little overpriced but everyone has a comfort zone in what they want or are willing to pay and only you can make your mind up on that ,sometimes the pleasure of owning something special is worth paying that little bit extra ,however
you do need to do your research and check out all the details and certainly see it in the flesh.
For a newly fully restored bike you would expect it to be in tip top condition but there are a few discrepancies ie, the clocks (unrestored) , tank badge chipped, partial new fuel hoses? , front mudguard wrong ( though I like it ) rear shocks (pattern) primary chain adjuster with 2 lock nuts? down pipes stainless pattern but easily changed for better Chrome items....so certainly a few points to question but also to use as a bargaining tool should you so wish.....
More importantly is to check the history of the bike and the serial numbers and any maintenance history you can find out about in detail.
I wouldn’t say these bikes are hard to maintain but you do need to know what you are doing and new paint and polish can hide a multitude of sins, but that applies to any second hand vehicle you buy not just Laverda’s
Good luck with your journey, there is a mounting of information and advice on here so go check it out and ask away.
