who rides their Laverda to work

Just thought I would try and lighten the mood a little during the challenging times we are all facing and see who rides their Laverda to work, I will start it off with evidence of my ride to work today on my 3C

Beautiful bike. A nice 3C is hard to beat for looks.

Hey Maurice, on the subject of riding to work, you got me thinking about your concrete business. If you built a Laverda with a concrete agitator drum (maybe on a sidecar chassis) you could use it AT work. A motorcycle concrete truck (for small jobs only) would be a cool thing to turn up to a work site on.  :D

I don't anymore, but way back in the day.. picture this big noisy Black/Gold Jota arriving at the HIA display village.. off gets this bloke in greasy Bell Staffs.. rain, hail or shine.. around to the back door, into the back bedroom and 5 minutes later.. voila, 3 piece suit (stashed in the wardrobe), brushed neat and tidy and ready to knock a few more deals together.. :P
Magic, end of day reverse procedure.. the roads around the back of Toowong and Clayfield echoed some times I can tell ya..

I did for over 20 years through the 70 and 80's on a Breganzie - Granted you need a Bar Maid to push you off to work in the morning when your battery was Dead and your not married ;o)

Mystery, Women and Breganzie's know these things  - Although you're the keeper of the flame.

If you got done for speeding on that, would it be calculated by aggregate speed?  :)

I do ride my Jota 120 occasionally  especially now the roof if the bike shed at work has finally been fixed!
 
Rode the Yellow Peril from Avalon to Neutral Bay for ten years, when I moved to Adelaide I saw the light and bought a Yam XT 225 for commuter work, did 100,000 kays on it, including a trip across the Nullarbor Plain, 70kph all the way :D
 
As an apprentice I was working on a high rise building site. Our construction workers car park was in the basement. If I timed it right I was able to be walking down the ramps while one of the plumbers was leaving on his Jota. The sound of it roaring up four floors...
I made up my mind on that job that I had to ?get one of those?

When I worked for almost ten years in Oslo I commuted from as soon as the roads were dry in early spring (usually March), until when the snows or ices came (usually late October), from where I live half an hour south. Lane splitting the almost stationary traffic every morning for half an hour but a variety of detours for the ride home, lots of fantastic small bendy country roads to clear the head after a day of work. Either the SF2 or the VFR. Wasn't possible when I started working in the north sea, and a waste now that I drive a ferry a few minutes ride from home, but sometimes I plan a half hour detour home if I have dayshift.
 
Well done Maurice, once again you have nailed it.
Brett was talking about riding in to work but he dosen't post much these days,
Red 3c looks stunning.

Years ago when I lived in Bristol I lived in a flat above the business. I use to ride my Montjuic, which I kept in the hallway, to get away from work!
 
... I would love to ride to work with one of my Laverdas. But from my sleeping room to my office room it is only about 5 meters. Maybe I should make the detour via the kitchen, then it is at least 20 meters ...  :D
