$2.44 at my insanely expensive local station that I never go to, what happens when you live in an affluent leafy Lower North Shore suburb of Sydney. Even at the cheaper one further away it's an eye-watering $2.24. How are we to get a good view of this with local currency not to mention metric and imperial considerations, Economics stricks again.

Europe prices make ours here in Oz look paltry. I'm a total cynic when fuel prices worldwide skyrocket at every chance. there's always a 'reason' for the hike and the major suppliers rub their hands with glee. The sooner we switch to non-fossil energy the better - and the chisellers of the planet will have to live off the profits they took over the decades.

Local premium fuel here is $2.29 CAD per liter

That works out to be:
2.47 AUD
1.38 GBP
1.64 EUR
1.80 USD ........ or $6.93 per gallon
2.64 NZD
240.74 RUB

USA has a while yet before they really need to cry like the rest of us.

A few days ago I paid $3.95 per gallon which works out to $1.21 per liter. This was in Colorado. Other states in the US have different prices. Some higher and some lower.

So for a liter in the USA this would be:

1.43 AUD
1.39 CAD
.953 EUR
.799 GBP

The sad fact is, barely 100 metres across the border into Washington State, fuel costs $1.47cdn a litre. $.50 a litre difference, all tax, carbon tax, surcharge tax, tax upon tax.

Fuel prices were rising, even before Putin put his own boot in his own arse. I find it highly amusing how INFLATION hasn't been mentioned since I was in my 20s and now 40 years later all of a sudden it's been discovered lurking everywhere at once, if I wasn't so paranoid I would be highly suspicious about this suddenly popping up world wide.
