This is the bike the importer Stein-Dinse used for the press to promote the bike in 2000 (number plate in the papers matches the one on the report in a bike magazine, the Stein-Dinse Sticker is still there and Stein-Dinse is the first owner in the papers). It is one of the last roughly 50 bikes built in that configuration.
Note the extremely rare 5-spoke rims and some other components unique to that model (Crank type 3 f.e., which seems to be an improved version)!!
It is fairly original with some needed modifications:
-Crank needle bearings were fixed before I bought it by OCT, shifting was adjusted and works faultlessly!
-fork oil was changed roughly 5.000km ago
-Starter has 4 contact plate and has been overhault by OCT
-starter gearing has been changed/optimized
-starter wires are the thicker ones
-chip has been optimized for smoother running in midrange (original chip still available)
-regulator is soldered in instead of the connector that overheats
-tank cap is alloy for easier opening (original still here)
-right mirror was replaced with original item from OCT due to the mirror glas losing the rear coating and not beeing shiny anymore.
With the bike comes the rear footrest holders and rear seat pad in fitting color (blue), both originally blistered, never mounted. The bike is else in original condition with new tires (2024, done roughly 400km). Bike has meanwhile done roughly 17.000km, only failiour so far was a dead battery. starts well cold and warm with full battery. Some other parts available.
